hacklab.TO, the Toronto hackerspace, commissioned a logo to represent both their location and their interests. Hackerspaces are developing all over the world, so it was important that the logo express a sense of place. For this I used the CN Tower, easily Toronto’s most recognizeable building. Coupled to that is the hackerspace interest in “shiny things”, here represented by the nerdy circuit diagram for an LED. It’s been put together to bring to mind high action and possibly cocktails. Hacking is both srs biznaz and fun again.
